The “Family Nest” project started out in 1989 to support and help women in distress with children under the age of five. The aim of the project is to help these women extricate themselves from a cycle of hardship and helplessness. The project is implemented in collaboration with the Ashkelon municipality social services. EAPC helped fund afterschool classes for the children of the women participating in the project.
