Search and rescue units are highly trained and volunteer to search and rescue, medically treat and evacuate hikers, citizens, tourists and soldiers who have lost their way in difficult terrain, landed up in danger, or been injured in a tragedy/ natural disaster while hiking or in the course of other activity. The search and rescue team are volunteers from towns, moshavim and kibbutzim in the south. Volunteers who search, locate and rescue hikers and missing persons under difficult conditions in a highly professional manner. EAPC has donated to the units via the Eilat Foundation nonprofit association.
